Simba took about a month to settle in fully. He is now a huge part of the Thomas' household. He is an absolute stunner, both in looks and temperament. Everyone loves him. He loves to play with children and is quite happy to be 'teddy' in the doll's pram. It was my son that purchased him but he is definitely mummy's baby.....loves cuddles sitting on my knee. I can't imagine life without him. He is an absolute credit to Katie and Dena. If you want a Bengal, I would definitely recommend you get one form Shimmershine Bengals.

Dina and Katy, I have spoke of you often since I left you last. I will be in Telford this week and am hoping I can take the opportunity to visit you. Your beautiful presidents are happy and well. Every day they are outside and climb trees, following me up getting cooking apples, or just showing off to each other. They are happy and well, I know they are happy cos they follow me around everywhere with their tales right up in air, bouncing around for one thing. My own children may have grown and left but I have missed caring for them on a day to day basis. Giving me your beautiful boys has given more than I could have imagined, I watch them and it's grounding and funny. The best thing is that they are together, and have eachother to share new discoveries with, and being able to watch them every day puts a warm smile on my face. Thank you both, if for nothing else, for laughing with me over my petrol dilema.

Hi Dina and Kate, Just to let you know that Summer is doing really well. She’s settled in and is getting on really well with Sienna. (My first Bengal from Shimmershine Bengals). They are more than happy to share the food bowl and curl up together on the bed  To anyone who hasn’t seen Summer she’s a most impressive Bengal. Dina and Kate bought her to join their breeding programme but unfortunately a routine check at the vets showed she has a slight heart murmur. The murmur itself is so small it wont have an effect of Summer’s day to day life, belief me she has more energy than all my other pets put together! But the strain on her heart if she was to get pregnant may have been fatal. Dina and Kate didn’t hesitate, although it broke their hearts, Summer went off to be spayed so there was no chance of her ever having kittens. I’ve been blessed with Dina being a wonderful friend and allowing me to have Summer. Dina knows she will have a full life with us and this again shows how much she loves their cats. She was truly gutted when she couldn’t breed from her as she’s working really hard to enhance the breed. Summer’s exceptionally loving and playful and so Dina wanted to be sure Summer would have a good forever home. I can’t thank Dina and Kate enough. Bengals make fantastic pets and if you have any doubts looks them up on you tube – put in playing fetch or playing with water – they are super intelligent, affectionate and stunning to look at. Then when you’ve realised you can’t live without one – get in touch with Dina and Kate at Shimmershine Bengals – you wont regret it xx Sharon xx :)

Hi Mum, Just a quick message to let you know I'm doing ok x The first day was very exciting and I got to mooch and investigate my new surroundings. Day 2: I waited for you to come and get me and have to admit to feeling a bit home sick. The food is good here but I didn't really want to use the loo (you know how it is when you're away from home!). I did try and make a good impression and got all the fluff from under the wardrobe out to help my new mum. Day 3: I couldn't hold on any longer, my new mum was very pleased when I had a poo :) Day 4: Have started training them now as I've realised I'm staying. They appear quite happy to pamper to my every need, and there's aways someone about to give me a fuss and a pat on the head. I've got an outside play area which is ideal to sun bathe in, but one of the chickens, Lacey's her name, has a bit of an attitude problem and keeps telling me off! I'm sure she'll get used to me soon. My favourite past time is lounging on the big bed or jumping on the window sill and watching the world go by. Mum puts the water bowl up there to stop the daft dog from drinking it all and I've had great fun knocking it on to the floor (LOL) but no-one seems to mind. Oh well - best go - things to do - and I think it's time for breakfast. I know I'm going to be alright here but want to thank you for giving me the best start in life. Love Sienna xxx

One word says it all - BRILLIANT! From the initial point of contact Dina and Kate were both wonderful. Their knowledge of Bengals is vast and their care and commitment shines through onto the kittens themselves. I'm the proud owner of two of Shimmershine Bengal kittens, a girl who I've named Nevaeh who is rosetted, and Mogul a boy who has a marble coat. Both kittens are such a pleasure to own, they have so much energy and are very playful. When Mogul was born his mum rejected him to begin with, and Dina spent many a night lying on the floor of the nursing area encouraging mum to feed her baby, until such time that Mogul was accepted, but until that time Dina fed him from a spoon to keep him going. As a result Mogul is half hand reared and is so effectionate, he really is a credit to the time Dina put into him. I'm fortunate that Shimmershine Bengals is a short distance away from where I live and I've been able to have regular visits. Each time I've had a warm welcome and Dina, Kate and other family members have made me feel comfortable in their home. They have been very kind and sent me emails and pictures of the kittens as they've grown. I can honestly recommend Shimmershine Bengals if you are looking for a kitten, as Dina and Kate do it because they love the cats themselves, the kittens receive alot of love and attention and any veternary needs are catered for, thus giving them the very best start in life, and I know I've got two happy healthy kittens who I wouldn't want to be without xx Thank you Dina and Kate - keep up the good work xx Gaz xx
